occupational therapy

Speech therapists work with children and adults who have speech or language disorders. For example, a speech therapist might work on articulation, fluency or how to move the mouth to produce correct sounds.

Physiotherapists create physical treatment plans to improve the quality of life for those with disabilities. For example, a physiotherapist can assist with coordination, pain relief, range of motion and breathing exercises.

DM therapy (or Dance Movement Therapy) can be used for stress
reduction, disease prevention, and mood management. It offers increased muscular strength, coordination and mobility.

DM therapy

Occupational therapists work to ensure people with disabilities are able to function independently in their environments. For example, an occupational therapist can teach self-care, or advise on appropriate equipment for children with disabilities.

Remedial teaching is conducted by a Special Educator. They adapt the curriculum or program to the abilities and learning type of the student, to ensure students learn effectively.
